Two Unsuccessful Websites

www.oceanside-ca.com and www.relogik.com are two websites that I believe are unsuccessful.  The www.oceanside-ca.com website has an annoying voice that welcomes you to come into the website.  Once you enter the website, the arrow is forever being followed by a clock that swirls and swirls.  It almost makes me dizzy just trying to get from one place to another, within the website.  It is very distracting.  The www.relogik.com website has some neat visuals, but when it comes to the text, it is so light that you can barely see the text.  The text is my main complaint on this website.  Great color in the products, but very poor text.

Two Successful Websites

www.nature.com and www.ebay.com are both websites that I consider to be successful in design.  Both of these webites use primary and secondary colors, which make them easy to view.  Each of these websites are sectioned off in a manner which makes them easy to use.  The user has no trouble navigating in either of these websites and all areas appear to be user friendly. 

Why I want to take the Designing for the World Wide Web class

     I wanted to take the class, Designing for the World Wide Web, because I thought it would be interesting to create websites.  I also wanted to be able to one day, create websites as a freelancer, for extra money.   I know by taking this class, that it will increase my skill level in design, and allow me to have a successful career in designing websites.
